Tapping ISN'T the two handed hammer on-pull offs like in Eruption. Tapping is when he taps notes one octave away from the fingered note like in Dance the Night Away, Mean Streets, and Aftershock (although the tapped notes don't have to be an octave away). But back to the hammer on-pull off issue. Yeah, maybe other people used their right hand to voice a note or two before Ed (Ed even said himself that he came up with the idea when he saw Jimmy Page voice a note with his right hand) but he's the one who extended this technique, playing it all over the neck, to what it became in the 80s. When you think of this technique, who do you think of Steve Hackett of Genesis (who claims he came up with it first)? DON"T THINK SO. "Although Jamie would feel better if she wrote David a letter, she is crying," said former Van Halen manager Eddie Arnesen. Though sources say Jamie has been in love before, and that she knows what love is for, in this case it was a mere one-night stand, and love should be more than that. Arnesen added that despite the fact that when Roth and Jamie parted, the long-haired, vinyl-clad rocker said, "Gimme a call some time," Jamie knows what that will get her. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HAHAHA!
