Check it out. Lots of pictures of list members, Liza, Brad, Arvid, Chris & Deb, and me too. Right now the pictures are presented in chronological order, but I plan on grouping the list people together on another page this weekend for easier viewing... Also, I will be putting up 4 NEW Sammy songs, as recorded at the Cabo Wabo on Saturday, Oct 12. My question is, should I put them up as wav's or RealAudio files??? Anybody care either way??? Roland. The GR synths are the only ones to buy. The VG-8, while not a synth, will get some synth-like tones that originate from the waveform made by striking the string. They are being made very slowly. They are opening a new plant this month and it will take a little while till it really gets off its feet and everything in the production line gets tweaked out. At least that is what my dealer told me, who owns 300 of my total bill, and a Peavey rep. So everything is legit. It is just gonna take time for these guitars to come out. What I am afraid of is that when everything gets going, they'll be producing em like candy bars. I DON'T want that happening. But the deal with your delaer, having 3 and not selling any? That is a crock of shit. If you ordered a maple top (transparent) and they have 2 in stock, then legally one is yours. They can't keep stock for the store before pre-paid orders. Peavey said they ship em faster to delaers that have customer deposits already on hand, and slower to dealers that just order like 20 for stock in the store. If they are keeping your money and have 3 in the store I'd bitch out the owner cause that is not right, and from what I understand not legal. If anyone is looking to order wolfgangs, a place here called The Music Center is selling em'. He has 4 on order, including my transparent amber. I think he has 1 black, 1 purple, 1 red and my 1 amber on order. So if you can't find a dealer with less than like 10 or so on order and want to pick one up a little quicker, give this place a call. They have been great to me and my buds. Ask for a guy named Warren and tell him I referred you there. Prices fly around all over the place so I can't guarantee any specific price, as you can negotiate that with him. I don't normally like to advertise for dealers (especially for out-of-state orders), but since everyone is going nutz for this guitar, I figured I'd help some people out since many helped me out before (thanks Dave). That's kinda funny, because right now I have a little Peavey amp! = It's only an 8", and I think it has more than 20 watts, but I don't think= it would be loud enough to fill an auditorium of 800 people. I've been = looking at some Marshall amps, but I really like Peavey. Are the Trans-t= ube amps really all they're cracked up to be? I was thinking maybe a 212= would be sufficent enough to fill the auditorium, but I'm not sure. Chris ------------------------------ End of Van Halen Digest V1 #957
