Either they're shitty journalist that don't do their homework, or they're afraid they're going to burn a bridge by being tough and thorough. They need to go back to school and give me the job, ha! BTW, I'm not saying they need to hammer Ed (obviously that would be the end of the interview), but there are constructive ways of asking a question, and when you do it right the responses are often telling. Ed has opened the door in every interview to ask a constructive follow-up question, but the journalists always stick to the script and go to the next question on the list.
