Ya know what it all started with (and this is going back a bit), that game show they had on there called Remote Control, and when that was successful, all of a sudden, instead of music related programs (ie Headbangers Ball, 120 Minutes), there was more and more non music shows slowly starting to pop up. > >I am still pissed off at them for cancelling the Headbangers > > Ball a few years back..that was a pretty cool show. > > I agree. Let's hope things turn around soon. Well, I wouldnt count on it. I remember a time I wouldnt be caught dead watching VH1, but right now, they air more shows purely about music than MTV. More videos, more music specials...and they are not all suck groups, I was shocked when they actually had a Behind The Music special on Ozzy Osbourne. I've been constantly bugging the crap out of HMV regarding the DLR Band CD. Anyway, I got a call on Friday saying that they got in a few copies and they had one with my name on it. I just got back from there and listened to the first couple of tracks on the way back in the car. They had another copy on the shelf if anyone is interested. It's an import, but it only costs $29.95 (thanks to the new copyright laws). I got it from Macquarie Centre, North Ryde, but I'd imagine that you could order it in at any HMV if you want it.
