HOWEVER.... if = I would've known about how it performed while plugged into a parallel por= t, I wouldn't have bought it. It does great for backing up all my important= stuff, but if you're going to run programs off of it, it's imperative that you= have a SCZI card and use that input. There's no way that it can handle transf= erring that much info ( especially from a large program, ie. Photoshop ), thro= ugh the parallel port. This may be obvious already, but I wanted to point = it out. BTW -- I've got the installation files for all of my important programs= backed up on 2 Zip disks ( getting ready to go into the 3rd one. ) That came = in *EXTREMELY* handy when I had to do an emergency uninstall of Windows because of a bad file.
