Well, like many I was furiously dialing and waiting on hold early this afternoon for Vegas show tickets. Rick Ames and I decided we would both try to get tickets for both shows to be safe and take the best of what we got between us. I called the LA number at 11:45 and was on hold for 35 minutes before "the next available agent" took my call! Man, that was frustrating watching the time tick by... Unfortunately it turns out that both Rick and I got tickets for Friday only!! Saturday was sold out by the time both of us got through ordering Friday tickets. :( I actually tried for Saturday first and the guy said there were no two seats together. I said fine, I'll just take the best two you have anywhere, but he went ahead and checked Friday, so by the time that was through, Saturday was sold out... Arrggh! So, my desperate plea to the list... ;-) Does anyone have extra Saturday tickets they would be gracious enough to part with? If not, I guess we're looking at super expensive brokers or waiting to see if they release any more tickets before the show. Or perhaps we could just sneak in... ;-) I'm excited but very disappointed at the same time... Man I got screwed for Vegas tickets. The guy I talked to said that I couldn't buy tickets online until one hour after the time that they go on sale. So I tried dialing in and it was busy of course while my buddy was dialing on his cell phone also. He got through and gave me the phone and while I was waiting on the phone I went online to check the ticket master site anyway. It turns out that you could actually get them online at the time they went on sale and I was pissed. It turns out that I got the last single seat on the Oct 2 show and I need another one on that date so that my buddy can make the trip down with me from Portland OR. This sucks man we were planning on coming down for two nights and watching both shows. Oh well if I could get another ticket for my buddy and just make one night I will still be happy as hell. We would probably just stay down the other night to, just party with you guys. So anyway if anyone can help me out, I would be happy as hell.
