What is the best (relatively inexpensive) guitar and amp combo to get to learn on? And don't say "Wolfgang" because I'm not going to buy something that expensive unless I get good (probably never). Get a 59 Les Paul, a 100watt Marshall Super Lead, a plex series should do the trick, and some rack mount effects! Yeah, get that! If not, there are some good guitars at pawn shops that are really cheap! BTW, you can get an old Kramer guitar at a pawn shop for "real" cheap! Charvel makes some cheap cost guitars! Crate amps, gorilla amps, are fairly cheap! Shit, do what ya want! Take out a $4000.00 loan and have fun! But if I were you, the Les Paul and the Marshall are your best bet! ;) Good luck! Well Kids, after a long 12 hours traveling, Liz I are back from Vegas. What a fookin show (Sat night). A couple of thoughts... It was nice having seats better than Wolfie. LOL (Wolfie was in Row 7 Ed's side) Val looked kinda bored during the show (I guess she was just looking out for Wolfie.) A striped wolfie special!!! That's the style I want to learn. I agree that a used guitar would probably be best (better model at a lower price).
