It is one of our many inside jokes. Brad does *not*, I repeat *not* run this list. He had the list created with his ISP, so he technically *owns* this list. It is actually run by all of us VHML'ers and some damn council which I for one would like to snuff out in the middle of the night. The council tries to pretend that they are nonexistent but if you are real quiet, you can hear them scurrying in the background like roaches... Brad is an pretty good guy when he has his head on straight, but he drinks :) Have you read the FAQ? Of course not. What's the URL? http://www.vhml.com. Neil Schon (no VH) Well I remember being excited when Trial By Fire came out in 96. It's not a bad album for a ten year layoff, but I remember thinking at the time these guys will never capture what they had in the late 70's, and in the 80's. I think for all tense and purposes, these guys are over. Of course I am not too excited about the music industry these days anyway. Just not too many good bands to look forward too anymore. I know what you mean El, it just seems like we keep bombarding them with gifts that they don't really want or need. It feels kinda like a homeless person handing Bill Gates a dollar (I know how overly dramatic of me.) FWIW, I wrote that before the idea of the add in the trades came up and I am really liking that idea a lot. This would show VH our respect and doesn't seem like we are giving them things just so we can create "ties" with the band. With the decline in public confidence in VH this would show the band that they still have a very loyal following and by adding something like "we know the next album will kick some serious *ss," maybe we can give them some extra confidence going into the studio. maybe we can come up with a really cool page by adding a striped background to it. Can someone research the cost of something like this and get back to us? If not, I will volunteer to do it. If we all chipped in, it should be relatively inexpensive.
